Happy Holidays
The holiday season has arrived so quickly, it’s truly breathtaking how fast time flies. Sure, no one really enjoys cold weather, but the holidays are always something to look forward to and enjoy.
It seems like Halloween was yesterday and now Christmas will be here in five (count’em, FIVE) days?! I can’t believe it. Not many of my relatives will be here for Christmas this year, sadly. You see, Muffins (my beloved cat) has a certain medical problem that makes her somewhat difficult to be around. The vet told me it’s nothing to worry about. Personally, I’m use to it so it doesn’t really bother me. Her problem is that when she sneezes, she also farts at the same time. (Fart seems like a childish word to use. I should say, “expels gas from her anus”). My guests are often shocked when she does this but I’m quick to tell them it’s ok. Every year for the holidays we gather at the table and enjoy delicious foods cooked by my grandmother who is one helluva chef. Muffins, being the cute cat that she is, even has her own spot on the table where we give her slices of ham and turkey. This past Thanksgiving didn’t go so well, unfortunately. You see, Muffins caught wind of something in the air that made her throw a HUGE fit. (I blame my aunt Brenda’s perfume but who knows?) Muffins began sneezing and farting nonstop on the dining room table. I felt so sorry for her. My uncle Jim had to pick up his plate and move to the kiddie table it smelled so bad. Cousin Eric (the one I told you that has one ear smaller than the other) actually threw up into his napkin! It was such a scene! I eventually picked up Muffins from the table and quietly took her outside. She stopped sneezing/farting after some time, thankfully. I wish my family would return home this year but instead they voted we go to the Olive Garden. Oh well…
If you haven’t picked up the game Sneezies yet, you’re obviously not on top of your game. Sneezies is an addictive, simple, yet well made game where you make little balls of fur (contained in floating balls of mucus…or just bubbles. Whatever. Call’em what you want…I don’t care) pop creating a chain reaction where they all parachute to their untimely grave in the abyss below. I downloaded it this morning and as of this writing, my girlfriend won’t give me my phone back (that being said, look at the leaderboard for “Michael”…I’ll post her score when she gives me my damn phone back!!). It’s only 99c and definitely a great game! Also, any age can play it so parents shouldn’t think twice about getting this for their little fur balls.
