I forgot to say…

CONGRATULATIONS!!! To all you new iPhone 3G S owners who’ve stumbled across this site by accident. You probably won’t be back and will ignore my phone calls but I’ll always remember when we first met. You mean the most to me and I want what’s best for both of us. I don’t know what I’m saying half the time. Anyways, I started this site awhile back because I had an unhealthy obsession with iPhone applications. I like/love talking about them so to save my family and friends the annoyance of, “hey, look at this”, I write here. Dig around and if you like whatever applications I’ve recommended (AppAttack :D ) or not liked (AppNapp :( ) then maybe I can help you have fun with your new phone. Again, congratulations and I’m proud of ya!!!

*Take the majority of what I say with a grain of salt. I’m seldom ever serious here. Unless I’m talking about shaving Vanilla Ice patterns in the heads of squirrels.

Sissy Sally

Alright, I’m not going to talk a whole lot about this game. Many of you have come to believe that I’m one tough, crazy guy that all the women love. That I’m some big macho guy that kicks orphans in the face and pushes elderly women into aisles at the grocery store. A type of man where women, no matter what time or place, will immediately take their clothes off when I make an appearance. You’ve come to believe that and I want that image to stick. So when I mention Sally’s Spa (iTunes link) or encourage you to at least try Sally’s Spa Lite (iTunes link) you won’t think of me as some little sissy guy who cowers at the thought of having to punch someone or a cowardly type who doesn’t have the nuts to simply call a girl he’s interested in on the phone. That’s not me at all. I don’t do “sissy”. And I certainly don’t play addictive, time management games that are incredibly hard to put down once you start. And I sure as hell wouldn’t recommend you try such a game either.

Have I mentioned Twitter?

Alright, I think out of all the posts I’ve written, Twitter and Twitter apps are the most spoken about. Thanks to the 3.0 update (and because I’m a former jailbreaker) I decided to start from scratch and get rid of all that was from my phone. Around the same time I made the decision, TweetDeck (iTunes link) stuck it’s head out of the groundhog anus it was buried in (yeah, I don’t know what I mean either). And the more I mess around with it, the more it’s deserving my love and affection. Inside the application, you can make different columns (if you have more than one Twitter account, if not, it makes the columns for you). You can see what everyone is saying, people who have mentioned you and direct messages to you. Some people claim it crashes a lot but I haven’t had this problem. The only problem I’ve had is that I’m pretty sure you have to be connected via Wifi or 3G to really make it work properly. I’m still using Tweetie (iTunes link) when out and about….gotta stay faithful to the cow you came home with.

Wellington Looks Like a…

Hey! Remember me? I don’t. Or should I say, “there you are and here I am“? It’s been awhile since I’ve told you anything. Not because I don’t care about you…more so for the lack of anything worth talking about. I think many developers have been busy working with the 3.0 update (due next week…WOOHOO!!) so there doesn’t seem to be that flood of new apps coming out every day (AMEN!). I’ve been busy at my day job to really peruse iTunes for the next best game/app. Thanks to friend’s recommendations, I have however, found two games worth talking about. PathPix (iTunes link) is one of the most simple, addicting games I’ve come across in a long time. Your goal is to connect numbers together with your finger, creating a line or shape. You end up with a pixelated painting. There’s over a 100 of them so you’ll most likely get your money’s worth. I can honestly tell you after I write this last sentence I’m going to do one more puzzle. HIGHLY addictive!!

Addiction and it’s Friends

If you know me, you know that I am one of those people easily addicted to whatever’s placed in front of me. Whether it be a bag of Skittles, popping zits, pouring out grandma’s denture water or ripping the protective paper sack coverings off of children’s schoolbooks, once I start, I can’t stop. I’ve always been this way. I blame my parent’s. They took me to the circus as a small child (18 years old) and I ran into a clown in the parking lot. Did he try to harass me in some creepy way or give me drugs? No. He was a clown and I was at a circus…two of the most retarded things ever to be created. Nobody should be forced to go to the circus. Nobody. Peggle (iTunes link) is a game that I played the hell out of on my iPod Classic awhile back. I’ve been hesitant to buy it (I’m currently eating whatever crumbs I can find from my vacuum cleaner thanks to the App store)…five dollars can be a lot of money. But now and until midnight tomorrow, Peggle is only a dollar. BUY THIS GAME!! You’ll lose all your friends and love life but it’s worth it.
